Davey’s lightning protection system uses a heavier copper cable and innovative hardware that pushes the conductor cable away from the trunk as the tree grows to prevent embedding.
We also use a fuse attached to the conductor cable that provides a critical measurement function, allowing arborists to know when a lightning strike has taken place so that the system can be fully inspected for damage.
