Just-in-time Environmental Permitting Keeps Large Pipeline Project on Track.
A Midwestern U.S. based utility’s 18-mile high pressure natural gas pipeline in Indiana would supply customers with reliable energy and reduce capacity issues. The pipeline route had been selected, easements had been secured, and a construction date was established, but no environmental field surveys or permit pre-coordination had taken place. In order to meet deadlines, the utility needed comprehensive environmental planning that was both professional and prompt.
Davey Resource Group field teams went into action. DRG:
DRG obtained the necessary permits* and the natural gas pipeline construction proceeded on schedule. DRG’s experts are implementing the mitigation plans and will continue to help the utility satisfy permit requirements on an ongoing basis.
