Mark Rettig joined Davey in 2002 as a residential tree trimmer in Toledo, Ohio. After spending several years with Davey and briefly leaving the company to explore other roles in the utility realm, Mark rejoined Davey Resource Group, Inc. in 2013 as a project developer with the objective of growing DRG’s footprint in the northeast. After significant success, Mark was promoted to market manager in 2018. Now, Mark is the director of utility vegetation business development and eastern operations. In this role, Mark develops and executes strategies to grow existing and new service offerings while leading, supporting, and developing UVM’s project developer team. Mark also provides leadership and oversight for the East Coast operations.
