Michelle Persinko joined Davey in 2016 as a consulting utility forester, and, after spending time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda, returned in 2019 as a project utility forester. She quickly established herself as a natural and reliable leader on Davey’s Dominion Energy project in Virginia, demonstrating a willingness to accept special assignments and carry them out independently and successfully. During her time in Virginia, Michelle helped create a new program component aimed at mitigating risk related to ash trees and the Emerald Ash Borer pest. In 2021, Michelle was promoted to project manager. In her role, Michelle provides direct day-to-day client support and team leadership at Austin Energy, helping build a new team to support Davey’s utility partner. This is a premier opportunity for DRG in this region and will include pre-planning for cycle maintenance, capital improvement projects, mid-cycle work, and street light clearance.
